Do you love playing Khet?
Do you live in the United Kingdom?
We are a group of people who love playing Khet and want to meet fellow, like-minded people, up and down the UK to play each other.
We have run a USA style Tournament at Hemel Hempstead in 2008 but next year need to find a venue around Britain and would love to hear from you. We are not professionals doing this, we are also volunteering to do the championship and website in our spare time, making it as proffessional as posible within our budget.
Send us an e-mail to khetplayersuk@yahoo.com stating in the subject line "Khet Venue 2009" and where you would like the venue to be.
We are also looking for sponsors for the event, so please let us know if you would like to help by seeing the e-mail above and in the subject line write "Khet Sponsors for 2009" so we can access it right away and reply to you.
Images may take some time to load depending on your broadband or dial up (narrow band) connection. To see these images in more detail just click on the photo below.

Are you a beginner or do you have more experience? Do you start with the Classic, Imhotep or Dynasty? Do you have a starting configuration that you would like to share with others? Would you like to test out your latest idea for a starting configuration that others can comment on? Do you use the Eye of Horus Beam Splitter? Would you like to see a Khet Forum at some point in the future?
We would like to play other countries champions as well so that a Khet World Champion can be formed. Let us know what you think of this idea. Should Khet become a competitive sport on a similar footing to chess or should it remain just a game like monopoly? The amount of interest we receive will determine that, so it's up to you!
Even if you are from abroad but love playing Khet, just send us your views at khetplayersuk@yahoogroups.com or click on the link below
